It’s been 5 weeks since my rotator cuff surgery, and today I also had my 2nd post-op visit with the doctor. I am finally able to be free of my sling, which is a huge relief. The not-so-good news was that my shoulder is tight – tighter than the doctor would have liked to have seen. I need to make good progress in the next 5 weeks on my range of motion physical therapy, or my recovery could be extended to 12-18 months.

I sure as heck don’t want that, so I will be working as hard as possible with the therapists. I have my first appointment this Thursday.

Specially regarding Marooned, this week, my plan is to try and go back to the first script without art that I have been writing behind the scenes, and see if I can begin drawing again. I have *some* range of motion in my shoulder. I would say 20-30% roughly. Not sure how much that will allow me to do. But I will let you know. I am hoping that’s enough to get back to it.

It may be that I can only work in small sessions, or that the discomfort will not allow it. I’m going to give a go soon, and I will let you know.

As always, thank you for reading and for all your support!
