True story. I was not once, but TWICE in business meetings where the person next to me whipped out a plastic bag and began flossing their teeth. Unbelievably disgusting, and you wonder how people can act like that in a professional setting!
Nearing death, Captain John is willing to try anything to heal his sickness.
Ugo has brought him to the Dark Ones – Elephant-like tripod creatures dwelling in the deep caves of Mars. It is suggested a mysterious figure named “The Listener” might be the only one who can save John, and John meets The Listener, he will be in for the shock of his life!

Quick note: For those of you who downloaded and donated for the Commander & Scout book, thank you very much!
I had been hanging on to this one since Mother’s Day. I wasn’t sure if I was going to save it to publish in my next book or what, but since that will certainly be a ways off at the least, I wanted to share this today. You all know James Anderson from his awesomely awesome comic “Ellie on Planet X,” one of the most fun and beautiful comics out there. He sent me this super cool painting he did of Lian in gauche, and I absolutely love it. The style is so unique, and I just love Jim’s sense of color. Enjoy!
Swing by tomorrow, I’ll have an update on my new schedule for the strip.
